This is a demo of a map search application. The search uses the Google geocoding service and its flash API library. How to use it is described below. You need the flash plugin of at least version 9 for this demo.
This is a google map in flash with all standard controls. Additionally there is a search form above which allows you to enter a location and select an appropriate size. The search result from google geocoding service is then displayed in the map and in the address and coordinate field. If there are alternatives in the search result they can be selected from the drop-down box. If you move the map away from the result location the address field gets cleared. You can return to the last location using the '*' button.
